Blue Earth River Farm is a family owned and operated alpaca farm nestled in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, just off I-81. Come spend some time with us and see how wonderful the alpaca lifestyle can be. We started our herd in 2004 with 4 females. We have since grown to a quailty herd of 24. We use a very gentle hands on approach and spend quite a bit of time with our alpacas. We strive to continually improve our herd with each breeding. Our breeding program is aimed at correct conformation, fleece uniformity, fineness and density, fleece character, and easy temperament.
